Regé-Jean Page joins the cast of Steven Soderbergh’s Black Bag

The film stars Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett in lead roles

Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett were earlier announced as the leads of Steven Soderbergh's Black Bag. The latest to join the cast of the thriller is Regé-Jean Page. Backed by Focus Feature, the film is penned by David Koepp.

Casey Silver and Greg Jacobs are the producers of Black Bag. Described as a spy thriller, the plot details of the film are still kept under wraps. The film is expected to go on floors sometime around Spring this year.

Steven Soderbergh recently had the release of his directorial Presence starring Lucy Liu, Julia Fox and Chris Sullivan. A psychological thriller, the film was also written by Koepp. Soderbergh is famous for films like Erin Brockovich, Ocean's Eleven, Magic Mike, Ocean's Twelve, and Ocean's Thirteen.

Regé-Jean Page is known for his fame-fetching role in Bridgerton. He then went on to star in Netflix's The Gray Man and Paramount's Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
