Andrew McCarthy (known for Brats), Debby Ryan (popular for Shortcomings), and Drew Van Acker (star of Last Survivors) have completed production on Orion in New York. Described as a science-fiction thriller, Orion is directed by Jaco Bouwer from a screenplay by first-time scenarist Anne Vithayathil. The film revolves around an expert from the US Intelligence Community who is responsible for helping an astronaut get back his memory to find out the reason for the deaths of his crew members before landing back on planet Earth.

The film also stars Karin Ann, Theodora Miranne, Danny Bisla, and Natalia Lesz.

Van Acker is also producing the film alongside Scott Army, Sunil Perkash, and Elle Army. They described it as "a very unique world building sci fi thriller that relies on incredibly strong performances from all of the cast and the meticulously curated world building by our director, Jaco Bouwer. We could not be more excited to bring our clever twisting and turning film to audiences worldwide soon.”
