Sam Neill joins the cast of Netflix's Untamed

The limited series is headlined by Eric Bana

Earlier, we had reported that actor Eric Bana would be headlining Netflix’s limited series Untamed. The latest update is that actor Sam Neill has joined the cast of the series. The six-part series is written by Mark L Smith and his daughter, Elle Smith. Billed as a mystery thriller, the series follows Kyle Turner, played by Bana, a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. Neill will be essaying the character, Paul Souter, who is a friend of Turner. The father-daughter duo and Bana are also executive producing the series. John Wells Productions’ John Wells and Erin Jontow, Escape Artists Entertainment’s Todd Black and Tony Shaw, Bee Holder Productions’ Steve Lee Jones, and Syndicate Entertainment’s Cliff Roberts are also executive producers.

Neill was last seen in Peacock’s limited series Apples Never Fall. He’ll also soon be seen reprising his role as senior lawyer Brett Colby in season 2 of Australian crime drama The Twelve. His other popular acting credits include Jurassic Park, Assassin Club, Scarygirl, and Bring Him To Me.
