Audrina Miranda joins the cast of new Jurassic World film

The film will mark the return of screenwriter David Koeep who penned the script of Jurassic Park (1993) and its sequel Jurassic Park: The Lost World (1997).

Child actor Audrina Miranda has joined the cast of the new Jurassic World film. After setting foot in the dancing world, she worked with top choreographers and on projects with Nickelodeon, Dancing With the Stars and Lopez vs Lopez on NBC.

She will join the ensemble cast which already includes Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Rupert Friend, Mahershala Ali, Luna Blaise and David Iacono.

The film helmed by Gareth Edwards, is expected to be “a completely fresh take launching a new Jurassic era, following three adults and three teens getting stuck on the Island,” according to Variety. The film, which is set to be shot in Thailand, Malta and UK, will mark the return of screenwriter David Koeep who penned the script of Jurassic Park (1993) and its sequel Jurassic Park: The Lost World (1997).

Steven Spielberg will executive produce the new instalment through Amblin Entertainment. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley who bankrolled the modern Jurassic franchise, will produce through Kennedy-Marshall.

While the film is fourth in the Jurrasic World franchise, it is seventh including the Jurassic Park trilogy by Steven Spielberg. Jurassic World was set 22 years after the Jurassic Park events. The new trilogy took off at 2015 after Spielberg made Jurassic Park III in 2001.
