Paddington, or popularly known as Britian's favourite bear, is back after seven years since the release of Paddington 2 in 2017.

Keeping the November release tradition of the franchise intact, the third installment, Paddington in Peru, will release on November 8 this year in the UK. The film will premiere in US theatres on January 17, 2025.

The trailer of Paddington in Peru was officially unveiled at a special event in London, where the titular bear's favourite dish, marmalade sandwiches, were served.

The official logline of the film reads, "Paddington returns to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears. With the Brown family in tow, a thrilling adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and up to the mountain peaks of Peru.”

Ben Whishaw returns to lending voice to the lead. Hugh Brown too continues his journey in the live-action comedy as Mr Brown, while  Mrs Brown will be essayed in this part by Emily Mortimer as Sally Hawkins leaves the franchise after two films. Julie Walters and Imelda Stauton are back to act and voice for Mrs Bird and Aunt Lucy, respectively. In addition to them, new members like the guitar-wielding nun played by Olivia Colman and the boat captain played by Antonio Banderas have also been introduced.

The film, directed by Dougal Wilson, is written by Mark Burton, Jon Foster, and James Lamont.

Paddington in Peru is produced by David Heyman and Rosie Alison, while Paul King, Anna Marsh, Ron Halpern, Dan MacRae, Tim Wellspring, Jeffrey Clifford, and Naoya Kinoshita served as executive producers.
