Will Smith and Martin Lawrence sets two conditions to star in Bad Boys 5

A fifth film from the franchise looks possible as the fourth part, Bad Boys: Ride or Die has grossed over $105 million in the opening weekend

Basking in the success of the recently released action-comedy Bad Boys 4, directed by Adil & Billal, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have opened up on their continued involvement on the franchise.

Talking to the Entertainment Weekly, Smith and Lawrence said they will continue their Bad Boys partnership provided the there is a meaningful story and a reduced physical demands owing to their age.

Lawrence added that as long as there is a demand from the fans, he will keep trying to give what they want provided the film makes sense.

Originally created George Galla, the first part of Bad Boys released in 1995, the second part in 2023, and third and fourth in 2020 and 2024 resepctively. A television series also was made out of the film franchise titled LA's Finest (2019-2020).
