The makers of Mia Goth's upcoming slasher film MaXXXine released a new trailer for the film and the nearly one-and-a-half minute video showcases Maxine's determination to find the 'devil', a notorious stalker and a ruthless killer, who has been targetting aspiring actors.

The first trailer of MaXXXine, which was released two months ago, showed Maxine moving to Los Angeles in the early '80s to make a name for herself. She is soon stalked by a notorious serial killer who is on the hunt by the police. It also seems that there is more than what meets the eye as Maxine is also haunted by the ghosts of her past. The film is set in 1985 and the trailer establishes the same with vintage convertible cars and neon-lit sign boards.

MaXXXine is the final film in Ti West's slasher film franchise- X trilogy which follows the 2022 films X and Pearl. Goth is reprising her role from the first two films.

The cast also features Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito and Kevin Bacon.

MaXXXine is scheduled to release theatrically in the US on July 5.
