Silo season 2 gets a premiere date, adds Steve Zahn to cast

Rebecca Ferguson will reprise her role as engineer Juliette Nichols in Silo season 2, as will Common (Robert Sims), Tim Robbins (Bernard Holland)

Silo distributor Apple TV+ has announced the premiere date for the show, based on Hugh Howey’s Wool novel series. The streamer will release the first episode on November 15 and the other nine episodes once a week until January 2025. The White Lotus star Steve Zahn is the latest addition to the cast of the show.

According to the distributor's official synopsis: "Silo is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and those who try to find out face fatal consequences."

It stars Rebecca Ferguson as engineer Juliette, who looks for answers regarding the murder of a loved one and stumbles onto a mysterious event with deeper implications beyond her imagination. Rebecca will reprise her role as engineer Juliette Nichols in Silo season 2, as will Common (Robert Sims), Tim Robbins (Bernard Holland), Harriet Walter (Martha Walker), Chinaza Uche (Paul Billings), Avi Nash (Lukas), Alexandria Riley (Camille Sims), Shane McRae (Knox), Remmie Milner (Shirley Campbell), Clare Perkins (Carla), Billy Postlethwaite (Hank), Rick Gomez (Patrick Kennedy), Caitlin Zoz (Kathleen Billings), Tanya Moodie (Judge Meadows), and Iain Glen (Dr Pete Nichols).
