The trailer of the upcoming series The Penguin, starring Colin Farrell in the lead role was released on Sunday. The series will premiere on September 19 and will follow the rise of Farrell's Penguin in the underworld of Gotham, following the killing of Carmine Falcone in the 2022 film The Batman.

The Penguin will act as a continuation of the events of the Matt Reeves directorial, as well as a lead-up to the sequel, The Batman - Part 2, which is planned to release on October 2, 2026.

The trailer gives a hint of the dark world of the Gotham crime scene, and will pick off after the events of The Batman. It is created by Lauren LeFranc, and stars Cristin Milioti and Rhenzy Feliz apart from Farrell. It is produced by DC Studios in association with Warner Bros. Television.
