A spinoff of The Boys, titled Vought Rising, is in the works, with actors Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash set to reprise their roles from the original show. The spinoff will serve as a prequel to the show, starring Ackles and Cash as Soldier Boy and Stormfront, respectively. The actors will also produce it. They made the announcement about the upcoming project at the ongoing San Diego Comic-Con. Later, Prime Video confirmed it.

Paul Grellong returns to serve as showrunner and executive producer for Vought Rising. The Boys franchise's developer Eric Kripke is also associated with the project as an executive producer.

“It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought. We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V,” stated Kripke and Grellong.

The spinoffs of the show about a ragtag group of rogue superheroes also include The Boys Presents: Diabolical, The Boys: Mexico, and Gen V.
