The fifth film in the Ghostbusters franchise, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, has now premiered on Netflix and is available to stream on the platform. Directed by Gil Kenan, the film hit theatres on April 26 in India and opened to mixed reviews.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire features Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard and Celeste O'Connor in major roles among others. The film is a sequel to the hit Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) which was directed by Jason Reitman, who has co-written the Frozen Empire with Kenan.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is about the new and old Ghostbusters joining forces to save the world from a second ice age after an evil force gets unleashed upon the discovery of an ancient artefact.
