Amazon Prime Video dropped a new poster for Morfydd Clark's character in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The show, based on JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings series of books, stars Clark as Galadriel, who is an elven warrior with the belief that Middle-earth is seeing the return of evil. Galadriel is among the many fan favourites coming back to the second season of the show, the others being Sauron (Charlie Vickers), Elrond (Robert Aramayo), Prince Durin IV (Owain Arthur), Arondir (Ismael Cruz Cordova), and Celebrimbor (Charles Edwards).

Set thousands of years before the events of Tolkien’s book series, the show follows the forging of the original rings of power that would allow Sauron (Vickers) to spread evil across Middle-earth. It debuted on Prime Video in September 2022.

JD Payne and Patrick McKay created the series and serve as its showrunners. The second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power premieres on Amazon Prime Video on August 29.
