Netflix released a teaser announcing the fourth season of its popular show Bridgerton. In the description of the teaser, Netflix conveyed that the fourth season will be the story of Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson). The announcement comes shortly after showrunner Jess Brownell’s revelation that it would take about two years for the next season to come out on Netflix. Recently, she told The Hollywood Reporter, “We are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited, and then they have to be dubbed into every language. And the writing takes a very long time as well, so we’re kind of on a two-year pace, we’re trying to speed up but somewhere in that range."

Created by Chris Van Dusen, the romantic drama set in Regency-era London follows the lives of the Bridgerton family as they navigate love, loss, and societal pressures. Benedict is the second eldest Bridgerton sibling, known for his artistic talents and somewhat rebellious spirit compared to his more duty-bound brothers.
