The trailer for City of Dreams was unveiled by the makers on Saturday. The American-Mexican drama thriller film is written and directed by Mohit Ramchandani, and stars Ari Lopez, Renata Vaca, Alfredo Castro, Paulina Gaitán, Jason Patric, and Diego Calva.

The trailer for City of Dreams starts by showing Jesús (Lopez) as a skilled football player from Mexico, who is promised to be taken to the city to become a professional player by honing his skills. However, he is instead trafficked to Los Angeles as a slave to work in a sweatshop. We then see him fighting against the traffickers in an attempt to escape and save his fellow victims.

City of Dreams is produced by P2 Films and Original Entertainment.The filmhad its world premiere at the Mammoth Film Festival on March 5, 2023. It was originally scheduled to be released in the United States on April 5. City of Dreams will now hit theatres on August 30.
