Production on Luca Guadagnino's upcoming film After the Hunt is underway, announced the production banner for the film Imagine Entertainment and actor Ayo Edebiri through a social media post the other day. After the Hunt stars Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield, Edebiri, Chloë Sevigny, and Michael Stuhlbarg. Guadagnino is directing the film from a screenplay by Nora Garrett. Guadagnino is also producing it alongside Brian Grazer and Allan Mandelbaum of the banner Imagine Entertainment.

After the Hunt revolves around Julia Roberts' college professor character facing a challenging decision concerning her dark past after a top-performing student raises an allegation against one of her coworkers. It is Guadagnino’s cinematic followup to Challengers, the romantic comedy revolving around Tennis and starring Zendaya, Mike Faist, and Josh O'Connor in the lead roles. The filmmaker also has the Daniel Craig-starrer Queer slated for a 2024 release.

On the other hand, Roberts was last seen in 2023's Netflix film Leave the World Behind.
