The trailer of upcoming action-comedy film Jackpot!, starring Awkwafina and John Cena in the lead, was released by Prime Video on Tuesday.

The glimpse shows Katie (Awkwafina) coming to Los Angeles to find her luck in Hollywood, where she inadvertently wins a billion-dollar lottery prize. She has to be in possession of the lottery ticket till sundown to claim her winnings, fighting all the Californians who are after her to snatch it in a virtually lawless LA set in 2030. Enter Noel (Cena), who is her jackpot protector, to safeguard Katie till dusk for the protection commission, also vied by his protection rival Louis Lewis (Simu Liu).

Apart from the three, the film also stars Seann William Scott, Ayden Mayeri, Dolly de Leon, Donald Elise Watkins, Sam Asghari, Michael Hitchcock, Becky Ann Baker, Leslie David Baker, Murray Hill, Adam Ray, and Taylor Ortega.

Directed by Paul Feig, whose previous credits include Bridesmaid, Spy, and The Heat, Jackpot! is written by Rob Yescombe. John Schwartzman and Theodore Shapiro are the film's cinematographer and music composer respectively.

Jackpot! is releasing on August 15.
