Erin Foster's upcoming comedy series for Netflix has added 10 new actors to its cast, the streamer announced on Tuesday. In addition to the previously announced leads Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, the series has added Justine Lupe, and Timothy Simons among others.
Jackie Tohn, Michael Hitchcock, Paul Ben-Victor, Sherry Cola, Shiloh Bearman, Stephanie Faracy, Tania Raymonde, and Tovah Feldshuh are all set to play recurring guest roles in the upcoming series.
As per the official logline, the series is, "centred on the unlikely relationship between an outspoken, agnostic woman, Joanne (Bell), and an unconventional rabbi, Noah (Brody). The untitled series is created by Erin Foster and executive produced by Steven Levitan. Apart from playing the lead, Bell will also serve as an executive producer of the show.
While Lupe will be seen as Joanne's sister Morgan, Simon will play Sasha, Noah's older brother. As per the official description, Morgan is, "charming-yet-cutting, quick-witted," while, Sasha is “outlandish, eccentric, delusionally confident."
The 10-part series is set to have half-hour episodes. Disney's 20th Television and Steven Levitan Productions will be backing this untitled Netflix series. The series will be executive produced by Erin Foster, Craig DiGregorio, Sara Foster, Danielle Stokdyk and 3 Arts’ Oly Obst and Josh Lieberman.
