Michael B Jordan and Ryan Coogler, who have previously collaborated on films like Creed and Black Panther, have now joined hands for another film from Coogler's production company Proximity Media. While Jordan will feature as the lead, Coogler will be writing, directing and producing the film.

Jordan first collaborated with Coogler for Fruitvale Station. This upcoming film will mark the latter's first original spec script since Fruitvale Station. Details about the new film are still under wraps, but it is being described as a genre-style feature.

Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian are also producing on behalf of Proximity Media. Rebecca Cho of the production house will be executive producing.

Jordan was last seen in Creed III, in which he reprised his role as Adonis Creed. Coogler, on the other hand, had the release of his Marvel film directorial Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
