LaKeith Stanfield, who was recently seen in The Book of Clarence, has joined the cast of Shane Black's upcoming directorial, Play Dirty. He will be seen alongside Mark Wahlberg in the crime thriller, which is backed by Amazon MGM Studios.

Play Dirty is an adaptation of the Parker novels by Donald E Westlake. Wahlberg will be seen as an inured pro thief who is stabbed in the back and left for dead. As he plans revenge, the plan coincidentally also happens to be the biggest heist of his time. However, he is tasked with outsmarting a South American dictator, the New York mob and the world’s richest man if he hopes to stay alive, although he has the help of his accomplice, an actor-slash-con artist Grofield (Stanfield).

Charles Mondry and Anthony Bagarozzi have co-written the script along with Shane Black. The producers are Jules Daly and Marc Toberoff.
