Recently, we reported that Kaitlyn Dever has joined the second season of The Last of Us to play the role of Abby. The most recent update is that Young Mazino has been roped in to essay the character, Jesse.

The character Jesse is said to be the pillar of his community, whose intention to put everyone else's needs before his own costs him terribly sometimes.

The Last of Us, an adaptation of The Last of Us Part II video game, follows the adventures of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) as they travel across The United States to find the mysterious fireflies, a gang of revolutionaries attempting to overthrow the American military in the wake of a zombie apocalypse. With Ellie holding the keys to immunity in her genetic code, Joel needs to deliver her safely, or else risk the entire world losing the fight against the infected.

The Last of Us has Craig Mazin as Executive Producer and co-showrunner alongside Neil Druckmann. The production of the second season is scheduled to begin in Spring. It will be back on HBO in 2025.
