Jacob Elordi replaces Andrew Garfield as Frankenstein Monster in Guillermo Del Toro’s reiteration

The film will come to Netflix soon

Actor Jacob Elordi who was seen in Saltburn, will be playing the role of Frankenstein's Monster in the upcoming retelling of the story set to be directed by Guillermo Del Toro. Jacob has replaced Andrew Garfield after the latter exited the project due to scheduling conflicts.

Along with Jacob, the film also stars Oscar Isaac, Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, David Bradley, Felix Kammerer, among others.

Del Toro is also set to write the screenplay of the film and will be presented by Netflix which also released the filmmaker's Pinocchio and Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities. Alexandre Desplat will be scoring the music for the film.

The film will be backed by Del Toro along with J Miles Dale.
