British actor Simone Ashley who shot to fame with Bridgerton's season two, is set to star in an upcoming indie film titled This Tempting Madness. The film will be directed by Jennifer E Montgomery, with the script written by her husband Andrew M Davis.

The shooting of the film was recently wrapped up Los Angeles.

The makers also released a first look still from the film. This Tempting Madness is based on a true story and is a psychological thriller revolving around a woman who wakes up from coma and husband under arrest. With little to remember, she has to now come in terms with her past and join the pieces of her life puzzle.

Jennifer and Andrew back the project under Smoke Jumper Films along with Mango Monster Productions and CatchLight Studios. Andrew will also serve as the cinematographer.
