Filming for Season 4 of Netflix’s Bridgerton is officially underway, bringing together a blend of familiar and fresh faces as the cast reunites for a table read. The Shondaland hit, set in Regency-era London, teases another round of romance and intrigue as Lady Whistledown prepares to unveil the season’s newest diamond.

In a festive gesture to fans, the series shared behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram, showcasing cast members out of their elaborate period costumes. “Rejoice for it is the season of joy and merriment!” the post read, capturing the excitement surrounding the much-anticipated return.

Leading Season 4’s narrative is Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton, whose love story will take center stage. Yerin Ha joins the cast as Sophie Baek, Benedict’s romantic interest, and the two posed together during the table read, hinting at the chemistry to come.

The event also brought together core members of the Bridgerton family, including Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet, Hannah Dodd as Francesca, and Florence Hunt as Hyacinth. Adjoa Andoh’s Lady Danbury, Polly Walker’s Lady Featherington, and other key characters were present, alongside new additions such as Katie Leung’s Lady Araminta Gun and Isabella Wei’s Posy Li.

Filming for the new season kicked off in September at Shepperton Studios, where a newly constructed backlot sets the stage for the continuing saga. Newcomers Leung, Wei, and Michelle Mao (playing Rosamund Li) joined the production, while Emma Naomi and Hugh Sachs received promotions to series regulars in their roles as Alice Mondrich and Brimsley.

Season 4 shifts its focus to Benedict Bridgerton, the artistic second son whose carefree nature is challenged when he crosses paths with a mysterious Lady in Silver at a masquerade ball hosted by his mother. As his brothers find happiness in marriage, Benedict finds himself drawn into a love story he never anticipated.
