Jenny Slate has voiced unwavering support for her It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively, following Lively’s allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation against director and co-star Justin Baldoni.

“As Blake Lively’s castmate and friend, I stand by her as she takes action against those accused of orchestrating an attack on her reputation,” Slate said in a statement to Today.com on Monday. “Blake is a leader, a loyal friend, and a pillar of emotional support for me and countless others who know and love her.”

Slate continued, “The details of this attack on Blake are profoundly dark, unsettling, and entirely threatening. I admire her courage, commend her strength, and fully support her.”

In It Ends With Us, Slate plays Allysa, the sister of Baldoni’s character and Lively’s sister-in-law.

Her statement adds to the growing chorus of Hollywood figures, including Sony Pictures and SAG-AFTRA, who have rallied behind Lively.

Lively’s allegations became public last week when she filed a detailed complaint with California’s Civil Rights Department, highlighting instances of harassment and a coordinated smear campaign by Baldoni, his company Wayfarer Studios, co-founder James Heath, and others. While not yet a formal lawsuit, the filing signals potential legal action.

In response to the fallout, Baldoni was swiftly dropped by WME, the talent agency representing both Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

Despite Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, denying the accusations, the situation continues to escalate. The backlash against Baldoni—once a self-proclaimed advocate for women’s rights—has intensified. The Vital Voices Global Partnership revoked an award previously given to him, and his Man Enough podcast co-host, Liz Plank, resigned on Monday, citing the severity of the claims.
