Art Evans, who starred in films such as Fright Night, Die Hard 2 and A Soldier’s Story, passed away in the presence of his family on December 21. Evans was 82.
In a career spanning five decades, Evans accrued more than 100 screen credits, including films and TV series. One of the actor's best-known characters came in the sequel to Die Hard as Leslie Barnes, who works at an air traffic control tower and aids Bruce Willis' character in thwarting terrorism. His other credits include Big Time, National Lampoon’s Class Reunion, Tales from the Hood, Metro, and School Daze. The actor also appeared in TV series such as The X-Files, M*A*S*H, Family Matters, and Hill Street Blues.
Evans is survived by his spouse, Babe Evans, and son Ogadae Evans.
