Earlier, we reported about Elizabeth Olsen and Julia Roberts starring in a thriller titled Panic Carefully from writer-director Sam Esmail. The latest from the project is that Eddie Redmayne has also joined the cast. The film reunites Roberts with her Leave the World Behind director Esmail. The makers are yet to reveal specific plot and character details, but it is billed as a "paranoid thriller" involving the search for a person who is into cyber-terrorism.

Esmail is also producing the film with Chad Hamilton through the Esmail Corp banner, alongside Roberts, Scott Stuber, Lisa Gillan, and Marisa Yeres Gill. Chrystal Li and Kevin McCormick oversee the film project on behalf of Warner Bros. Pictures. According to a Deadline report, production on the film is set to commence in January 2025 in England.

Redmayne, who won a Best Actor Oscar in 2015 for his role as Stephen Hawking in director James Marsh's The Theory of Everything, now stars in the titular role of The Day of the Jackal series adaptation on JioCinema. His future projects also include the second season of The Day of the Jackal.
