Adam Scott and Danielle Deadwyler to star in The Saviors

Kevin Hamedani is helming the project from a screenplay he penned alongside Travis Betz

Adam Scott and Danielle Deadwyler are set to star in a thriller titled The Saviors from director Kevin Hamedani. The plot revolves around a couple who faces a challenging life situation after they rent out their suburban garage to mysterious people. Hamedani is helming the project from a screenplay he penned alongside Travis Betz. Its production is underway in Los Angeles.

Dan Gedman and Matt Smith are producing through their new banner, besides financing the film. Adam Scott and Naomi Scott are also producing the film for Great Scott Productions, alongside Nicholas Weinstock and Divya D’Souza of Invention Studios, as well as Bradley Gallo and Michael Helfant of Amasia Entertainment.

Scott's upcoming projects as an actor also include Severance season two. He also stars in his debut directorial, Double Booked, co-starring Sterling K Brown, Alexandra Daddario, and Zazie Beetz.

Deadwyler, who continues to get audience and critical appreciation for her performance in the film The Piano Lesson. Her future projects also include Carry-On, which is set to have a Netflix release later this month.
