Michael Angelo Covino to direct Splitsville and star alongside Dakota Johnson, Adria Arjona and Kyle Marvin

Splitsville will go on floors in Fall this year, and is scheduled to release next year

Dakota Johnson, Adria Arjona, and Kyle Marvin are all set to headline and star alongside Michael Angelo Covino in his upcming directoria Splitsville, a new comedy from Neon and Topic Studios. Marvin previously worked with Covino as writer, producer and star of his previous film, The Climb, an acclaimed indie dramedy which had its world premiere at Cannes. 

The story begins with Ashley (Arjona) requesting a divorce, prompting Carey (Marvin) to seek comfort from his friends Julie (Johnson) and Paul (Covino). However, he's taken aback to learn that their seemingly perfect relationship is actually an open marriage. As Carey becomes increasingly entangled in their unconventional arrangement, he inadvertently disrupts the delicate balance of their relationships, leading to chaos and unforeseen consequences.

Neon is reuniting with Topic Studios with Splitsville after their work together on Infinity Pool, Brandon Cronenberg's sci-fi horror film. Splitsville will go on floors in Fall this year, and is scheduled to release next year.
