Glen Powell's upcoming Hulu comedy series, Chad Powers, has added Quentin Plair and Wynn Everett as series regulars. Based on an Eli Manning sketch that aired on ESPN+, the half-hour series will also star previously announced cast members Perry Mattfeld, Frankie A Rodriguez, and Steve Zahn.
Co-created and executive produced by Powell and Michael Waldron,Chad Powers will feature the former as hotshot quarterback Russ Holliday, whose bad behaviour puts his college career in jeopardy. He then takes on the personality of the talented and affable Chad Powers and walks onto a struggling Southern football team.
While Plair will be seen as Coach Byrd, Everett will play the role of Tricia. Chad Powers is produced by Adam Fasullo and Waldron, who wrote the pilot script for the series.
Last seen in Tiny Beautiful Things, Plair recently wrapped filming for the Joe Carnahan directorial Not Without Hope, co-starring Zachary Levi. Everett, on the other hand, is known for The Walking Dead, Sweet Magnolias, Modern Family, This is Us, and more.
