Actor Daniela Melchior, known for her role in Road House, will join the ensemble of the upcoming mystery thriller American Sweatshop, starring Lili Reinhart.

The official plotline of the film, also starring Joel Fry, Christiane Paul, Levi Mattey and Jeremy Ang Jones, reads, "A look at the toll of social media through the eyes of Daisy Moriarty, who, while dealing with a chaotic personal life, finds herself sucked into the underbelly of the internet."

Daisy Moriarty (Lili Reinhart) and a motley group of co-workers work in a cottage industry of agencies that assess harmful and offensive pictures and videos uploaded on social media. A particular video catches the attention of Daisy, who then leaves the safety of her workplace to bring that person to the books.

In her recent appearance in Road House, she starred opposite Jake Gyllenhaal. Its streaming records after it premiered in March resulted in the announcement of a sequel.
