Harvey Keitel and Britt Robertson are sharing the screen for The Letter, currently wrapping up filming in Buenos Aires under the direction of Rodrigo H Vila. Vila is directing it from a screenplay he wrote with Sebastián Meschengieser, with additional script contributions from Andy Weiss.

Described as a 'comedy-drama', the film centres on Finn (Keitel), a war veteran who seeks to craft a farewell message to his daughter. To aid in this endeavour, he hires struggling writer Julia (Robertson), who is in dire need of financial support. Their unlikely partnership, born from shared feelings of loss, evolves into a friendship that profoundly impacts both their lives.

The Letter marks the second cinematic collaboration between Vila and Keitel, following their 2019 sci-fi thriller The Last Man.

Renowned for his iconic roles in films like Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, and Reservoir Dogs, Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe-winning actor Keitel recently appeared in the Peacock drama series The Tattooist of Auschwitz. Keitel's upcoming projects include Fate with Faye Dunaway and Milarepa.

Robertson, who recently appeared alongside George Clooney in Tomorrowland, has also headlined the ABC show The Rookie: Feds. She has The Merry Gentleman, alongside Chad Michael Murray, in the pipeline.
