The makers of Bridgerton Season 4 recently confirmed that the upcoming season would revolve around the love story of the second eldest Bridgerton member in the family Benedict. Now, it looks like the casting for his love interest in the romantic drama has been finalised as Yerin Ha.

The Korean-Australian actor is set to play Sophie Beckett opposite Luke Thompson's Benedict in the Netflix series. The story will be based on Julia Quinn's third Bridgerto novel titled, An Offer From a Gentleman. While Variety broke the news on the casting, an official confirmation is yet to be announced by the showrunners.

As per the official logline for the season, “The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict. Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.” A release date for the series has not been revealed.

Ha is best known for her role in Paramount+ series adaptation of the Halo video games. She was also seen in the 2022 horror film Sissy, in the 2019 crime drama Reef Break and other TV projects including Troppo and Bad Behaviour. Apart from Bridgerton Season 4, Ha has several exciting projects in her kitty including the 2025 mini-series The Survivors where she will be starring opposite Ian Bliss of Late Night with the Devil-fame. She also stars in a key role in the upcoming much-anticipated Dune: Prophecy, which will be released in November this year. She is playing Young Kasha in the sci-fi spinoff show.
