Poster out for Apartment 7A, prequel to Rosemary's Baby

The makers of the upcoming psychological thriller film, Apartment 7A, released a new poster. Apartment 7A will act as a prequel to the 1968 horror film Rosemary's Baby.

The poster has the words, "Rosemary was not the first."

The film will be the fourth installment in the Rosemary's Baby franchise. The three installments till now consist of the theatrical film (Rosemary's Baby), its made-for-television sequel film (the 1976 film Look What's Happened to Rosemary's Baby), and a television miniseries (the 2014 miniseries Rosemary's Baby).

The franchise sprouts from the 1967 novel of the same name by Ira Levin and follows a young married couple who move into a new apartment and experience interactions with a Satanic cult that wants to usher in the birth of the antichrist.

Apartment 7A stars Julia Garner as Terry Gionoffrio, Dianne Wiest as Margaux "Minnie" Castevet, and Kevin McNally as Roman Castevet. The film is directed by Natalie Erika James and will release on Paramount+ on September 27. 

John Krasinski, Allyson Seeger, Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller produce the film.
