The first trailer of Michael Keaton and Mila Kunis' Goodrich released on Friday. After years of doing drama films, Goodrich marks Keaton's return to the comedy genre.

The film is about the revival of strained relationship between a father and daughter. Keaton plays Andy Goodrich, whose life turns upside down when his wife and mother enter a 90-day rehabilitation programme leave their nine-year-old to his care. Goodrich turns to his daughter Grace (Mila Kunis), grappling with modern parenthood. Grace, who is pregnant, turns into a father she never had. Kunis' Grace is 27 years older than the twins, and she funnily says this is not common elsewhere except in LA.

The film looks to focus on the emotional reconciliation between father and daughter in a humourous manner.

Goodrich will be written and directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer. Keaton will be executive producing along with Amy Pascal. The film will debut in theatres on October 18 this year.
