Upcoming shark adventure film Beneath the Storm is all set to release on August 1, 2025. Interestingly, the animation film The Bad Guys 2 is also scheduled to release on the same date.

The film is directed by Tommy Wirkola, popular for making films like Violent Night (2022), What Happened to Monday (2017), Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013), and Dead Snow (2009). Wirkola also writes this film, which will release through Columbia Pictures.

Beneath the Storm stars Phoebe Dynevor, Whitney Peak and Djimon Hounsou. The film is produced by Adam McKay and Kevin Messick.

Phoebe Dynevor is known for playing the character of Daphne Bridgerton on the blockbuster Netflix series Bridgerton, while Hounsou was recently seen in films like Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Gran Turismo, the Rebel Moon films, and A Quiet Place: Day One.
