How often does a film's teaser start with the previous titles of its director and ends with the revelation of the title of their next film? This is exactly what the teaser for Steven Soderbergh's upcoming film Presence does. The film, which distributor Neon snapped up after its premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, follows a family as they occupy a house in a suburb and feel the presence of a mysterious entity there.

Presence stars Callina Liang, Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan, Julia Fox, Eddy Maday, and West Mulholland. The film reunites Soderbergh with his Kimi screenwriter David Koepp. The two are also collaborating on the upcoming spy thriller Black Bag, starring Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender, and Pierce Brosnan, among others.

Produced by Ken Meyer and Julie M Anderson, Presence is scheduled for a January 17, 2025, release.
