Deadpool & Wolverine earns close to $900 million at global box office

The film, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in lead roles, hit theatres on July 26 and opened to positive reviews

Within three weeks of its release, Deadpool & Wolverine has earned close to $900 million at the global box office. It minted $879.2 million in total out of which $421M comes from domestic and $458.2M from the international box office. Within the weekend, the film is expected to cross the $1 billion milestone.

The film, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in lead roles, hit theatres on July 26 and opened to positive reviews worldwide. The film directed by Shawn Levy, is also written by him along with Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Teese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells. Deadpool & Wolverine is backed by Kevin Feige, Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy and Lauren Shuler Donner.

The star cast of the film also includes Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni and Matthew Macfadyen. That apart, cinematographer George Richmond, editors Shane Reid and Dean Zimmerman, and music composer Rob Simonsen make up the technical crew of Deadpool & Wolverine.
