Geek Girl to premiere on Netflix on this date

Geek Girl is a ten-episode show based on writer Holly Smale's eponymous children's novel. Netflix will start streaming the show from May 30 onwards. The show revolves around Harriet Manners, a teenager who gets into a popular fashion advertisement campaign. It shows how Harriet tries to lead a balanced life between her high school commitments and her fashion ad role. House of the Dragon star Emily Carey is playing the lead role of Harriet Manners.

Geek Girl won the 2014 Waterstones Children's Book Prize in the Teen category. The show adapted from the book also stars Tim Downie, Sarah Parish, Sandra Yi Sencindiver, Jemima Rooper, Hebe Beardsall, Madeleine Price, and so forth. Declan O'Dwyer is the director of the series, and RubyRock Pictures is producing it with Aircraft Pictures.
