Pamela Anderson, best known for her roles in Baywatch and Scary Movie 3, has signed on to star opposite Liam Neeson in Paramount's Naked Gun remake. Akiva Schaffer is directing the film, and Erica Huggins and Seth MacFarlane are producing it through their company Fuzzy Door. Schaffer is also serving as an executive producer, alongside Daniel M Stillman. The script is penned by Dan Gregor, Schaffer, and Doug Mand—the trio known for the Emmy-winning Disney+ film Chip ‘N Dale: Rescue Rangers.

The original Naked Gun trilogy, written and directed by Jerry Zucker, Jim Abrahams and David Zucker, was based on the television series Police Squad! It is centred around Frank Drebin, played by Leslie Nielsen, a clueless cop who somehow managed to solve his cases. Priscilla Presley portrayed the love interest of Frank Drebin in the original Naked Gun films.

Neeson is reportedly playing Drebin in the remake, and Anderson is playing his love interest. The film is slated for a July 18, 2025, release.
