Earlier, we reported that Owen Wilson is all set to star in Apple TV+'s upcoming comedy series based on a golf course. Veteran actor-comedian, Marc Maron has now joined the cast of the series. He will play the lead opposite Wilson and Peter Dager, which comes from Jason Keller, writer of Ford v Ferrari.

The series will feature Wilson as Pryce Cahill, an ex-pro golfer past his prime, whose career hit brakes 20 years ago, sooner than expected. As his wife leaves him and he gets fired from his job at Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce puts all his hopes on a talented but troubled young golfer (Dager). Maron will star as Mitts, former caddy and Pryce’s best friend.

The ten-part series is also executive produced by Keller, who is also known for films like Escape Plan and Machine Gun Preacher. Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris are the directors of this series, which is bankrolled by Apple Studios.
