Saw X, the tenth instalment in the Saw franchise, is gearing up for a release on September 29. Ahead of the film's release, a new poster of the film has been released online.

Saw X serves as the direct sequel to Saw (2004) and a prequel to Saw II (2005). Directed by Kevin Greutart,  Saw X is written by Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg. The upcoming film will see the return of John Kramer, played by Tobin Bell, the original Jigsaw, reprising his role as the franchise's villain. Shawnee Smith, who is best known for playing Amanda Young in the franchise, will also reprise her role in the upcoming film.

The film's official logline read, " A sick and desperate John travels to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer – only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable. Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged, and ingenious traps."

Along with Bell and Smith, the film also stars Synnove Lund, Steven Brand, Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez, Octavia Hinojosa, Joshua Okamoto, and Michael Beach.
