The Marsh King's Daughter release postponed 

Starring Daisy Ridley in the lead role, the film was supposed to hit the theatres on October 6

We had earlier reported that The Marsh King's Daughter starring Daisy Ridley in the lead role, was supposed to hit the theatres on October 6. The makers have now postponed the film's release to November 3. The delay in the release comes in view of release of Taylor Swift's upcoming concert film Era on October 13.

Other films like Exorcist: The Believer, Dumb Money and What Happens Later have also changed their release plan in view of Era.

A thriller, The Marsh King's Daughter features Daisy as Helena, a woman whose father's criminal history, comes back to get her as he gets out of the prison. The film is directed by Neil Burger. Ben Mendelsohn is playing the role of the father. Others part of the cast include Garrett Hedlund, Caren Pistorius, Brooklynn Prince and Gil Birmingham.    

STXfilms, Black Bear Pictures, and Anonymous Content back the film with Lionsgate serving as distributor.

Now with The Marsh King's Daughter arriving on November 3, the film will sharing its window with Sofia Coppola's Priscilla, American Fiction and Rustin.
