We had earlier reported that actor-comedian Sathish will be headlining a horror film titled Conjuring Kannapan. The makers have now announced that Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring music for the film.

Backed by AGS Entertainments, the film marks the directorial debut of Selvin Raj Xavier, who has previously assisted Chimbu Devan and Sumanth Radhakrishnan.

Apart from Sathish, the film also stars Regina Cassandra, Nasser, Saranya Ponvannan, Anandraj, VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley, Namo Narayana, Naane Varuvaen-fame Elli AvrRam, Jason Shaw and Benedict Garrett.

The film's post-theatrical digital rights have been bagged by Netflix. The makers plan to release Conjuring Kannapan by the end of this year. The film is said to have been made with high production value and with state-of-the-art technology. Conjuring Kannapan has been shot in Chennai on huge sets resembling ancient buildings.
