Netflix has released the trailer of the upcoming film Leave the World Behind starring Ethan Hawke and Julia Roberts. The film will premiere on December 8.
Mahershala Ali, Myha’la and Kevin Bacon, are also part of the cast of the film, which is expected to be an apocalyptic thriller. It is written and directed by San Esmail. Leave the World Behind revolves around two families who are in race for survival amid a blackout.
Based on the 2020 novel by the same name authored by Rumaan Alam, who also serves as the executive producer, the film will also have Barack and Michelle Obama as executive producers.
Leave the World Behind will be opening the AFI Fest and release in theatres on November 22.
