With the finale of the Disney+Hotstar series Wandavision in 2021, Marvel announced that they will be making a spinoff of the character Agatha Harkness. It was first revealed that the spinoff series will be tittled House of Harkness, then it was changed to Coven of Chaos. Now, the makers have revealed that the series will be titled Agatha Harkness: Darkhold Diaries.

The makers also announced that they are expecting to release the series by the end of 2024. While Kathryn Hahn plays the titular role, the rest of the cast also includes Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Emma Caulfield Ford, Maria Dizzia, Miles Gutierrez-Riley,  and Okwui Okpokwasili.

At the moment, it is unclear whether Elisabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will reprise their roles as Wanda Maximoff and Vision from the original series. Darkhold Diaries will revolve around a coven of witches and will be part of the ongoing Marvel Cinematic Universe.
