Filmmaker Jaume Collet-Serra will be helming a thriller film, with actor Emily Blunt in the lead role.

Jaume recently made Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson. The project is attached to Amazon MGM Studios and described as “propulsive action thriller”, as per Variety report.

In the upcoming film, which is yet to be titled, Emily will play the role of a female detective Kate Warne, inspired from the real life character. Kate Warne was the first female detective at the Pinkerton agency and trailblazer for women in law enforcement.

The film will be backed by Emily, however the talks are yet to be finalized, due to the ongoing actors strike in the US. Dwayne Johnson will also produce the film along with Hiram Garcia and Dany Garcia under the banner Seven Bucks Productions. Kristina Sorensen is producing for With a K Productions.
