The Iron Claw trailer is out 

The film stars Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White in lead roles

The trailer of A24's upcoming sports drama, The Iron Claw, starring Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White, was released by the makers on social media on Wednesday.

The Iron Claw is based on the real-life story of the American professional wrestling family, The Von Erichs. The film is written and directed by Sean Durkin, who is best known for making the 2011 thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene.

The trailer shows Efron and White star as Kevin and Kerry of the Von Erich brothers, as they have a vision for becoming wrestling champions.

Others part of the cast include, Harris Dickinson, Maura Tierney, Stanley Simons, with Holt McCallany and Lily James. The film also stars professional wrestler Maxwell Jacob Friedman, marking his feature film debut.

The film is slated for a theatrical release on December 22.
