It is well-known by now that Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke are starring in Pedro Almodóvar's short film Strange Way of Life. A new teaser for the film has been unveiled by MUBI. 

The 15-second-long teaser gives us a glimpse into Pascal and Hawke's meeting and how they reconnect after several years.

The 31-minute short western follows Pascal and Hawke as two gunslingers who reunite after 25 years apart. 

Strange Way of Life is about Silva (Pedro) who takes a journey to cross the desert in order to reunite with his friend Sheriff (Ethan). While they share a common past, their reunion becomes an instance of complex human emotions and show of unannounced actions.

The ensemble cast includes José Condessa, Jason Fernández, Sara Sálamo,  Erenice Lohan, , Pedro Casablanc, Manu Ríos among others. It will be available to watch in the UK on MUBI from October 20.

Pascal will also soon be seen in comedy Drive-Away Dolls opposite Matt Damon and he has a role in Ridley Scott's upcoming Gladiator 2. However, he is best known for his role in The Last of Us.

Meanwhile, Hawke has been working behind the camera and recently directed his daughter Maya Hawke in biographical drama film Wildcat alongside Rafael Casal and Cooper Hoffman.
