Now that it has been scaring people on the big screen for two weeks, Five Nights at Freddy's has surpassed the $250 million mark. 

With $251.9 million in ticket sales worldwide, the horror film has proven to be a huge financial success for Blumhouse and Universal. Over the course of this weekend, the video game adaption brought in $15.3 million at the domestic movie office.

Five Nights at Freddy’s is the first live-action adaptation of the hugely popular video game series that has become a merchandising monolith over the years. 

From director Emma Tammi, we follow Mike (Hutcherson), who begins working at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza as a security guard. During his first night on the job, he realizes that the night shift won't be so easy to get through. Pretty soon he will unveil what actually happened at Freddy's.

Five Nights At Freddy's, which was released in theatres and on Peacock on October 27, 2023, stars Josh Hutcherson, Matthew Lillard, Mary Stuart Masterson, Elizabeth Lail and Kat Conner Sterling. Directed by Emma Tammi and produced by Jason Blum and Scott Cawthon.
