We had earlier announced that Zack Snyder's epic space opera film Rebel Moon, will have multiple sequels. The director is also planning to expand the world of Rebel Moon with video games and graphic novels in development. 

In a recent interaction with the press, the filmmaker has revealed that Rebel Moon might share a story universe with his Netflix Zombie film series, which started with Army of The Dead and also has a spinoff film titled Army of Thieves. 

Snyder revealed that a character from Rebel Moon was supposed to appear in a planned Army of the Dead animated series, that is not currently in development. Rebel Moon is currently scheduled to launch in Netflix on December 15. The sequel, which is titled Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, will release on April 19, 2024.
